1000 Books before Kindergarten!
1000 Books before Kindergarten!

Research shows that children get ready to read years before they start school so this is the first step in encouraging your child to love books. 1000 may sound like a big number, but if you read just one book a night for three years, you'll have read even more than 1000! So come into the library, pick up a kit (available at the Main’s Youth & Parent Services Reference Desk or the Station Branch Reference Desk), and help your child develop a love of reading. They will even earn prizes along the way
